The insurance marketed by Papa-Léguas is a product of the insurance company TRANQUILIDADE.
All Papa-Léguas travelers are covered* under policy number 16.27078282.
Travel assistance is provided by EUROPE ASSISTANCE and in case of need, it should be activated by calling +351 213 886 282. If you need to activate the insurance or assistance, you should do so when the event occurs and not wait until you arrive in Portugal to do it. During the travel period, you should keep all receipts for expenses incurred and any reports, whether medical, police-related or of another nature.
Once the insurance or travel assistance is activated, the traveler should directly handle the process with the insurance company TRANQUILIDADE at +351 217 252 396 or +351 213 863 322. Papa-Léguas cannot be held responsible at any time for the assessment made by the insurance company regarding the incident.

* mountain insurance
Mountain trips that involve the use of auxiliary means of progression and safety such as crampons, harnesses, ice axes, ropes or other specific equipment to mountaineering and climbing are not covered by the the above-mentioned policy. For these activities, travelers should obtain a sports insurance policy for Mountaineering and Climbing through specialized federations or clubs they are affiliated with.
