Our tours presented here are mostly active and adventure tours. Therefore, there are risks and dangers that are not typically found in a traditional tour, which can be:
The tours are subject to setbacks, so your itinerary and services while traveling may change without notice due to local circumstances. This includes diseases, political problems, border difficulties or circumstances that are unpredictable and impossible to anticipate. Our staff on site will do their best to ensure the safety of travelers and in this regard no remuneration will be given for services that are not used.
On Papa-Léguas tours, participants do not make superhuman efforts, but they need to be physically and mental fit for the trip they are going to take.
It is consequently fundamental that the traveler has an open, flexible and optimistic state of mind to face the possible setbacks that may occur.
In many parts of the world, you can’t expect to find the comfort and hygiene conditions that you are used to, especially in mountain refuges, cabins or even hotels; the food served will reflect local habits and customs, making it often impossible to eat anything else.
If you are not a versatile and active person and if you are not used to setbacks or if you disagree with anything presented above, it is preferable not to travel with Papa-Léguas.
A great tour does not necessarily have to be measured by its number of days. MICRO are tours that can take a morning or a long weekend. Usually they are in Portugal or across the border. We have called them activities, but we think they should have the place they deserve. They are tours. They are MICRO and they are amazing.
EXPLORER tours are aimed at a group of intrepid travelers, with an open mind and a young spirit, thus, you!
You can tell all your friends, who are willing to sacrifice a bit of their usual comfort in exchange for a more surprising experience with the place they are visiting, that these tours are also for them.
The focus is on the unique experience and the stories that you will carry in your backpack for the rest of your life. Yes, because suitcases and trolleys are not going on this type of tour.
These are tours that balance the comfort that our travelers are used to with memorable experiences in the far ends of the world.
On a journey of cultural discovery in Japan, accompanied by a tour leader from Papa-Léguas, or trekking in Slovenia, accompanied by local guides, CLASSIC tours are those that provide the best of both worlds – a spirit of discovery and adventure and a good bed at the end of the day.
Adventure, experiences and the maximum comfort that we can guarantee in the visited destination. Here the adventure is until sunset. The places and experiences that will be provided will be the measure of an excellent tour with the certainty that there will be no shortage of stories, photos and videos to share with family and friends.
Note: Weather conditions (humidity level, heat/cold, moderate/heavy rain and the existence of snow or ice, among others) may change the classification of the levels of difficulty presented.
