I’m a speleologist, cave diver, big wall climber and mountaineer. I’ve always lived in the Serra de Aire, a place I fall in love with every day and whose caves and rocks have taught me to be an explorer since I was a child.

I travel out of curiosity and have an inexhaustible thirst for adventures that have taken me to more than 50 countries with my backpack on: crossing Africa and Asia in old cars, sailing the Atlantic, diving with sharks in the Philippines, exploring caves in China, climbing mountains in Patagonia, canoeing down rivers in Portugal…
I’ve done activities that are technical and demanding, but I do them with great passion and commitment. At Papa-Léguas we won’t be doing such technical activities, but we’ll be doing them with the same rigor and professionalism. I try to apply this dedication to everything I do in my life, a method for living life to the full.
