China

China is a nation that could almost be considered a continent. It is the most populous country in the world, located in East Asia. Its diversity of landscapes is overwhelming, covering prairies, deserts, mountains, lakes, rivers and its coastline has more than 14,000 km. The capital, Beijing, combines modern architecture with historic sites such as the Forbidden City palace complex and Tiananmen Square. Shanghai, the global financial hub, combines a skyscraper-filled financial district with reminiscences of French influence. The emblematic Wall, crosses the northern region of the country from east to west, being today one of the main postcards of the country.
