Greenland

Greenland is an autonomous region of Denmark. Its territory occupies the island of the same name, considered the largest in the world, plus several neighboring islands off the northeast coast of North America. Although a dependent territory of Denmark, it has limited self-government and its own parliament.

The capital is Nuuk and the territory is covered by the largest ice mass in the Northern Hemisphere, second only in size to the Antarctic ice mass.
